1. How to Switch Between Split/Merge Position Modes
1.1 Log in to the Tebbit website and enter the [Contract Trading] page.
2. Click the "Position Mode" button in the trading interface.
3. In the [Position Mode] window that pops up, select:
• Cross Merge • Cross Split • Individual Merge • Individual Split
4. Click "Confirm" to switch to the selected mode (the button will display the current mode).
Note:
• If you already have an open position for the current trading pair, you cannot switch modes for that pair.
• You can freely switch between different trading pairs.
2. Performance in Merge Mode
• First position opening: All positions will be displayed as a whole.
• Opening a new position in the same direction: The new position will be merged with the existing position; if the position size increases, the entry price will be recalculated based on the weighted average.
👉 Simply put: Merge mode combines multiple positions in the same direction into one.
3. Split Mode Performance
• First-time position opening: Positions are displayed independently.
• Re-opening a position in the same direction: New positions are displayed separately from existing positions; each position has its own entry price, margin, and liquidation price.
👉 Simply put: In split mode, each order creates a separate position.
4. Tips
• Split Mode: Suitable for users who want to control the risk of each trade individually.
• Consolidated Mode: Suitable for users who prefer to manage their overall position.
• Choose based on your trading habits and risk appetite.
